For living in Europe or a city, AMAZING March 19, 2010 Elisa Sophia I bought this for our year abroad in Italy. I have two kids, ages 1 and 3. It has been the best investment ever. I bought this over a more traditional sit-n-stand kind because I wanted two comfortable seats so they could both (hopefully!) take naps during our many long sight-seeing adventures. It works! They both love it. Even more three-year-old still likes to sit in the back. When he's back there, though, there's not much space in the basket (that's where his legs go). It is a bit clunky to fold, so I don't recommend it if you need to be in and out of the car often. With the classic version, you need to remove the back seat to fold it. All the wheels come off, though, so it does fold pretty flat for a double. For narrow European or city streets this is an essential stroller. It pushes like a dream. The air-filled tires make cobblestone streets a breeze. We've only had one fully flat tire. I replaced the inner-tube and we haven't had any problems since. I bought a small portable bike pump to keep in the basket and use it occasionally to keep the tires in top condition.
Tires keep going flat November 20, 2009 Montana mom (Montana, USA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The design is good but we have had at least 4 flat tires in 18 months, sometimes causing extreme inconvenience and costing over $100 in repairs (including the goo we had put in the tires last time to prevent flats). We are avid bike-riders and have never had such problems with any of our bikes. I know one other person who reports similar problems with her Phil and Ted stroller.

This is my third stroller!! The stroller is really light and easy to push and maneuver - even with one hand. I bought it to put my toddler and baby in, but I find myself using it even when I have one child with me. The only downside is the size of the stroller itself - it takes up a lot of room in our entranceway - and it is not so easy to fold. So if you are taking this in and out of the car trunk it would be a big hassle. But for trips around our neighbourhood, this has become my go-to stroller.
