 GREAT addition to the City Mini Double! August 24, 2010

I have TWO trays for our City Mini Double--works GREAT if you know how to install them. You have to clip them on one at a time and slide it to the side until you can velcro the tabs onto the bar--one tab will be 'round the side of the bar. The trays sit towards the end of the bar on each side. Reviews like the one saying only one tray fits are misleading. If Baby Jogger says they are made to fit, they aren't just lying about it. I think the bumper bar and trays are a fabulous addition to the stroller! :) I don't like that all the extras cost so much though! :( BUT...you get what you pay for! I have been SO impressed with the quality of Baby Jogger!

Although the whole belly bar and tray ensemble is not perfect, it's a great addition to our stroller. The bar is a little hard for my little ones to reach and the trays only anchor on one side if you're using two for a double stroller. Other than that though, they get the job done!

I purchased the adjustable belly bar and one child tray for my double City Classic. It attaches easily and the tray is secure, but it just isn't positioned properly to be of any use. It's way too high and because the stroller seat does not sit fully upright it's just awkward. I wouldn't recommend it unless Baby Jogger redesigns it. Another complaint I have is that the tray does not work interchangeably with the single strollers from Baby Jogger.

If you were only planning on using one tray at a time they would be ok but putting them together doesn't work at all. There isn't enough room on the bar and the tray tilts so bad that the food rolls to the side and makes it spill all over. If the bar isn't down all the way the trays sit up so high that the child can barely see over them. It's just not made very well, for the amount of the stroller and the accessories the product should have been made to fit better.

This tray fits onto the belly bar very securely and the cup holder is centered, deep enough to be secure, and large enough to fit pretty big cups into. My son was so excited about the addition of the tray that he kept putting his cup in and out for our entire first walk with it attached. I only ordered one because I just wasn't sure if I needed one or two based on the product description. This is just for one side of the double stroller. If you want one for both children you will need to order two. I'll be ordering a second one tonight.
